really old seed brings forth life
This article is about a seed that was found in a den. Scientists think that it is 32,000 years old, and they are exciited to (hopefully) get further funding for future expeditions to find more seeds.
Guess this gives good evidence for the frozen seed stores that multiple countries are doing.

China and north american timothy/Alfalfa
This article, china buys Canadian alfalfa, tells of the first shipment of Canadian alfalfa to china.
This is about US exports to china (alfalfa is the only allowable hay exprt at this time)
and this is a quick and short summary of US exports
So, I know what I am going to go do!!! look into starting my own alfalfa and timothy crops.
